Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using ShiftTimer ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Jetpack Labs grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

Purchase and Payment

ShiftTimer is available for a one-time purchase of $0.99 USD (or equivalent in your local currency) through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google according to their respective terms and policies.

  • All sales are final
  • No refunds except as required by applicable law or App Store/Play Store policies
  • No recurring subscriptions - one-time purchase only

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App
  • Use the App to violate any applicable laws or regulations

Health and Safety Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: ShiftTimer is a fitness timer tool and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Consult with a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program
  • High-intensity interval training can be physically demanding and may not be suitable for everyone
  • Stop exercising immediately if you experience chest pain, dizziness, severe shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms
  • Use appropriate safety equipment and exercise in a safe environment
  • Calorie estimates are approximations and should not be relied upon for medical purposes

You assume all risks associated with using the App for fitness activities. Jetpack Labs is not responsible for any injuries or health issues that may result from your use of the App.

Intellectual Property

The App and all content, features, and functionality are owned by Jetpack Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The ShiftTimer name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Jetpack Labs.

Updates and Modifications

We may release updates, bug fixes, and new features for the App. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time without notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JETPACK LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jetpack Labs operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Severability
